Rants About Hearing Loss
December 3, 2008 – 9:59 amI’m sick and tired of people complaining about hearing loss. Oh, I’m so old…I have to get a hearing aid…poor me. I’m sorry but you ederly people need to get over your selves. I’m only twenty years old and I have had a hearing amplifier since I was seven. Ya, it was not the easiest thing to go through.
Yes, some kids did make fun of me but I’m a better person now because of it. I used to be so jealous of my sister because her hearing was perfectly normal but now I’m almost glad I was hard of hearing and had to wear a hearing aid as a young person because it has helped make me who I am today. I have tough skin because of it. Thing that bother most people do not bother me. Sorry about the angry post but I just felt like I had to get some of that stuff off my chest.
